En weer een week voorbij.... and again a week has passed

In mijn laatste bericht schreef ik al, dat ik garen tekort zou komen voor de jurk. Ik wilde toch een foto laten zien van het achterpand - mijn dochter was zo vriendelijk om even te helpen met showen.

I already wrote that I did not have enough yarn to complete the dress. But I thought it would be nice to show the back of the dress already. My daughter was so nice to help me show it.

Socks... this was the unwilling skein of Regia. LOL! I knitted a plain and simple pair out of it and it looks nice.

Sokken... dit paar is gemaakt met Regia Nordic. Eenvoudig, maar ik vind ze wel mooi.




Een werkje wat nog niet helemaal klaar is...nu maak ik dus even reclame voor de Friendly Socks groep, waarin we deze sok als KAL breien. Deze sok is te vinden in boek 2. Meer info via Laura's pagina.

Wrapping up: I am packing the last few things for my SP10 pal. Her third package will be sent out tomorrow.

Uitdaging:ik ben een jurk aan het breien! / Challenge: I am knitting a dress

Je zou het zo niet zeggen als je dit plaatje ziet, maar dit is een stukje van het achterpand van een gebreid jurkje.Ik heb het onder de scanner gelegd en een gedeelte gescand.

T. vroeg iemand die het voor haar wilde maken en ik heb erop gereageerd. Het patroon heeft ze gevonden in de Burda van mei 2007. Ik moet zeggen dat het garen wat ze heeft gekozen erg lekker breit, en ik denk qua dikte dat ze het te zijner tijd in de winter ook wel kan dragen. Ik hou je verder op de hoogte van de vooruitgang :-)

You'll probably don't guess when you see this image, but this is a little piece of the back from a knitted dress. I placed my work under the scanner and scanned a fragment out of it.

T. asked someone who was able to knit it for her and I responded. The pattern was found in a sewing magazine named Burda (May 2007). I have to say that the yarn she chose for this dress knits away like a breeze. She'll be able to wear it in winter as the yarn is very comfortable. I'll keep you posted!
