We have joy, we have fun, we are drying in the sun....

I have dyed wool with Kool Aid before, but this time painting was different. For the first time I used wool that needs to be spun to paint - BFL to be precise. (And a little string of Superwash Merino, handspun already by Raveler Jantje.) But it was also the first time that I used pigments to paint. Basic colours blue, red and yellow - and the recipient of the BFL hopes to receive some purple and green.

Now it is drying in the sun until it is dry enough to go on the line (and not paint my clothing hahaha)

  1. I love the blue/purple one. I didnt pay enough attention to know you spin too!!!! I got some roving in a swap.....but it is just waiting for someone to spin it. I have to learn....someday!
