Knitting Traditions, mittens and workshops

Now in the US: Piecework Knitting Traditions :-) I still am amazed that a tiny designer like me has found a spot in one of the largest magazines in the US. The designer copy came my way, and was here at Good Friday, right in time to show at my workshop on Saturday. Groenlo mitten knitters, working on a swatch, in which they could try the technique, cuff and afterthought thumb. Unfortunately I did not take pictures at the afternoon workshop, creating crocheted socks - but that was due to hard work from the students - they managed in their swatch to make a toe, and the heel - plus they managed to turn the heel in just 2.5 hours of time. I am proud of them all.
