Socks in Progress

I had to do something different for a while. The shawl is progressing well, but especially on the rainy evenings we had in the past couple of days a bit hard to see. I needed something along the side to play with, and started a pair of socks on Friday evening... LOL!

I am from now on planning to note down historical facts...LOL! A personal fact is that I did the gusset decreases in a different way... and I like the result thus far.

I worked on it, on March 21, while watching the World Championship Ice Speed Skating, held in Thialf Stadium in Heerenveen. Sven Kramer won the 10 km in an amazing time. He also won the world title for the fourth time. It is the first time ever in history that a skater wins the world title four times in a row.
