Sock in Progress

A scanned image of a sock in progress. The photo of Wietse's cardigan will follow later, I have to download it to the computer as it is still on the camera. So...the sock. You know that I am fond of green... so when I received this yarn as gift, I knew a pair of socks would be in the making. The yarn is Muir Woods, one of the new fall colours for Panda Cotton. I am knitting the socks on 2.5 mm/ US 1.5 The yarn works away like a breeze!

The needles are my 14" DPN's - delightfully long, but with a reason. Our little yarn eater usually tries to pull my needles out of my work when he asks for attention. Now he pulls and the needle bends along a little, just enough to give me time to finish my row...and put away my work. He will learn though :-)

  2. My little yarn eater, is my cat! Sounds just like your boy with the needle tricks! Love the sock work Nice ribbing all the way down. I like how they are on a smaller gauge for the cuff.
